Tucked down a quiet country lane, leading only to the beautiful Little Petherick creek, with it's splendid views over the Camel estuary, Trevorrick Farm makes a perfect base for your holiday, whatever the season. At Trevorrick Farm you will find peace and tranquillity in a beautiful setting, yet in close proximity to the delights Cornwall has to offer. Padstow is only 4 miles by car. The north coasts' famous sandy beaches are just a 10 to 15 minute drive away and the world renowned Eden project is just 17miles. If you don't fancy cooking an excellent pub/restaurant is a ten minute stroll along the lane and the village pub just a mile away. Along the creek and estuary you will find a wide variety of birdlife. Around the farm you will see swallows and house martins and at dusk bats and maybe an owl or badger. After dark, the sky comes alive with a wealth of stars not seen in the towns and cities. If you come in the spring you will see wild primroses, bluebells, bright yellow gorse, then later in the year foxgloves, orchids, valarium and many species of butterfly. Given the mild Cornish climate, Trevorrick Farm is the ideal holiday destination for all seasons.

The area is a paradise for wildlife; we are set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The heated indoor swimming pool measures approximately 32' long x 16' wide x 4' deep throughout. It is open from the Easter holidays until the end of October (to avoid disturbance to other guests normal opening hours, subject to pool maintenance, are 10am to 8pm, or dusk if earlier). Within the swimming pool building are areas for the younger children to use the trundle toys, play on a small trampoline and read books. Slightly older children can play pool and upstairs table tennis. A full sized snooker table is available for adults. We have a "professional" table football - great fun for all ages. Outside there are climbing frames and swings and a paved area for the trundle toys. New in 2003 we had a 14' trampoline which proved extremely popular. Plenty of picnic benches are provided near to and further away from the play areas to relax and enjoy eating al fresco

Rooms Description

FARMHOUSE B & B - What we offer is a stay in a family home, with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. We have a choice of two double and one twin rooms, all with en suite bathrooms and colour televisions. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in each bedroom and they are centrally heated. There is a separate lounge for guests with colour television and video/DVD. Tea and cake is normally offered on arrival. On day of arrival, rooms are normally available after 4pm (earlier by arrangement), but after 5pm on Fridays and Saturdays (due to fact we have cottage changeovers on these days). On day of departure, rooms must be vacated by 10.30am. A full English breakfast (or any variation) is served around a farmhouse table where home made preserves are often available.
