The cottage sits alongside the bridleway that runs through our farm in a location so peaceful & tranquil that one visitor commented `the silence is deafening', this together with the clear nights skies & twinkling stars makes for a truly special experience. The cottage has its own secluded country garden with summerhouse, barbeque, garden furniture & little wildlife pond - a favourite with the local heron. The living room with granite inglenook fireplace housing a wood burner, has comfy sofas, colour TV with VHS & DVD players plus radio & CD system. Full oil fired central heating & double glazing throughout makes this cottage as cosy at Christmas as it is sunny in summer. The fully fitted kitchen/dining room is all electric with microwave, dishwasher, washing machine & ample equipment for four. Cot & high chair available.

Between Lamorna Cove and the lovely old fishing village of Mousehole lies the tiny rural hamlet of Castallack set amidst the unspoilt and tranquil countryside of the Lands End Peninsula. Offering the closeness of the magnificent South West Coastal path , wonderful beaches and wild scenery yet close to the cafes, shops, restaurants and galleries of Newlyn, Penzance and St Ives. Newlyn with its busy fishing harbour is great to explore, the bustling market town of Penzance has some very good restaurants and St Ives has a glorious harbour and seafront. The renowned Minack Theatre is within a few miles and offers the most glorious views. Nearest local shops, restaurants and the famous Christmas Lights are in Mousehole, which is only one and a half miles away. The nearest pub is 'The Lamorna Wink' which is a mere three quarters of a mile away. There are many galleries, restaurants, shops & pubs in the busy market town of Penzance which is 4 miles away and also in the vibrant fishing port of Newlyn just 2 miles.
