This is a haven for walkers or those who want the tranquillity of the countryside, yet be within a few minutes drive of delightful North Coast beaches. Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven are both within a short drive. The former is ideal for surfing. For eating out, The local pub, garage and general store is within three miles, but for a greater selection of shops and restaurants Bude is approximately 10 miles away. Here, there is a popular golf course in close proximity to the beach and during the summer there are a wide variety of seasonal attractions.The cottages are central for large areas of National Trust coastal walks, just a few miles from the rugged Bodmin Moor and within easy reach of numerous lakes and reservoirs with water sports, fishing and nature reserves.
