Lower Dutson Farm Holiday Cottages, midway between Dartmoor and the Cornish Moors our farm is on the Cornish side of the river Tamar. Two miles from Launceston, known as the "gateway" to Cornwall with its Norman Castle, Southgate Arch and unique granite carved Church. The beaches and harbours of Devon and Cornwall are easily accessible, as are numerous National Trust houses and gardens. There is an 18-hole golf course, leisure centre with swimming pool, riding stable and Steam Railway all within three miles of the farm. There is also an Otter Park and Trethorne Leisure Farm (10 pin bowling, another golf-course and driving range) nearby.

The area offers a wealth of family Inns, excellent restaurants and cream teas!! Guests are welcome to walk through the fields, the pretty coarse fishing lake and along the banks of the river Tamar which borders three of our fields. You may even see kingfishers, herons, buzzards and deer. Play fetch with Fly and Bess our sheepdogs. They will be pleased to see you.
