Child friendly Self Catering Farm and Fishing Holidays run by parents for parents in a Paradise Cornish Setting. Originally a 16th Century Water Mill, Coombe Mill is now a beautiful and secluded hamlet of stunning holiday cottages set amidst an idyllic 30 acre private estate. The highlight for children is the daily tractor and trailer ride to feed the many farm animals from Deer to chikens, Donkey to rabits. With 2 outdoor play areas and an under 5's indoor play area the children will be happy from dawn to dusk!

Coombe Mill offers all the magic and freedom of a farm holiday for children. The daily feed run by tractor and trailer gives parents a rest and children a chance to learn about the animals and make new friends (animals and children!) With 30 beautiful acres to explore as well as the purpose built play areas there is plenty for children to enjoy at Coombe. Outdoor Equipment • Safe children's play area with 'climbing fortress', slide, baby swings, see-saw sandpit and full size play tractor. • Under 5's separate fenced play area. • Two huge purpose built covered barbecues with free logs & all cooking utensils. • Badminton & volleyball area. • Fishing nets. • Books, games and toys to borrow. Daily Tractor and Trailer rides to feed the many animals from donkeys and Deer to ducks and rabbits, sociable for parents and great fun and learning for children. 2 well equiped play areas, one for the very young. Free fishing is available all year round for the exclusive use of our guests but guests must hold an appropriate rod licence. We have two fishing lakes and private river fishing along the banks of the River Camel. There are few limitations on the type of tackle or bait you use or the time of day or night you choose to fish, just come and enjoy! We also offer a home cooking service, a grocery delivery service & a maid service (mid week clean) Coombe Mill's location, in St Breward near Bodmin, makes us an ideal base for exploring Cornwall. Just a short drive from Coombe is the spectacular North Cornish coast with its towering cliffs, pure white sandy beaches and pretty harbour villages.
