Chark Country Holidays offer a selection of luxurious four star barn conversions in a tranquil rural location near Bodmin, Cornwall. Chark Country Holidays cottages are five lovingly converted spacious granite barns featuring open plan living areas with original beams and solid oak floors. Chark is great for horse lovers. You can bring your own horse free of charge when you stay here! There are scenic rides from the farm,and close by is a safe beach and the Camel Trail and even Bodmin Moor. Stabling and grazing is on site, and training is also available. If you don't have a horse you will love the cart rides, and our friendly ponies just love attention.

The cottages lie on a scenic dairy farm and guests are welcome to stroll in the surrounding fields which support a large variety of wildlife. The atmosphere is relaxed and guests both young and old enjoy the friendly animals, play area with trampoline, pony and horse and cart rides. The location is ideal for country walks or cycling and there is easy access to many local attractions such as Camel Trail, Eden Project, Lanhydrock House, South and North Coast beaches. Many of our guests return to us again and again - they never run out of great things to do!
Rooms Description
Oak fronted kitchens are well equipped with built in oven and ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washer dryer. Bedrooms have fitted furniture and bathrooms are well equipped. Each centrally heated cottage sleeps 2 to 4 people and one is M3 wheelchair accessible with spacious adapted bathroom and level access throughout. Another cottage is single storey and suitable for the less mobile. Fenten Chy has a corner whirlpool bath in the ensuite king size bedroom. Ideal for a romantic holiday for two...
Specialities
A baby sitting service is available to guests should parents want an evening out. All accommodation is non smoking. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs in each cottage for a small extra charge. All guests can take a complimentary cart ride, with Jasmine our Dales X Friesian mare. Everyone loves Billy the miniature horse, and he loves giving rides to young children. Wi-Fi access is free in all cottages

From M5 Exeter take A30 West. Exit at Bodmin.Take first left then left again signposted Liskeard A38. At roundabout take 1st exit, then at next roundabout take 3rd exit towards Lostwithiel/Lanhydrock. At next roundabout turn left onto B3268. At Sweetshouse keep to main road B3269. Then first right to Redmoor. Chark is 1/3 mile at bottom of hill. Do not take turning to Redmoor hefore Sweetshouse.
