Welcome to The Old Rectory, delightful self catering holiday accommodation near Looe. A gracious Georgian mansion has been converted into six fully equipped self catering apartments. Choose from one, two or three bedroom apartments each individually designed and beautifully furnished. The Old Rectory is on the edge of the pretty rural village of Lanreath by Looe surrounded by stunning countryside views. Guests are welcome to enjoy the large and beautifully secluded gardens which also benefit from a heated, open air swimming pool in summer, perfect for cooling off after time spent enjoying the sunshine on the south terrace. For the younger visitors we have a children’s playground and table tennis.

The Old Rectory offers a true retreat located in idyllic surroundings, hear only birdsong by day and the owls by night. The charming village of Lanreath by Looe is a delightful place to stay with a population of only a few hundred. The pretty church originally constructed in the Norman times, is worth a visit. Within walking distance is a traditional Inn serving delicious meals. Just six miles is the picturesque villages of Looe and Polperro. Close by are magnificent beaches, the south west coast path with its fabulous coastal views and the Eden Project.

Rooms Description

Our apartments have one, two or three bedrooms, with a lounge and bathroom with shower. Fully equipped kitchens all have electric with cooker, fridge/freezer & microwave. There are Televisions, mostly wide screen, Freeview boxes, Video Recorders, DVD players & Stereos. Free Wi-Fi access. Bed linen is provided. Towels maybe hired. Cots, high chairs & baby baths are available.

Specialities

Relax by the open air swimming pool and enjoy a Cornish ice cream, sold on site. Play table tennis or simply rest in the gardens. We are proud to have been runner up in the Commercial garden section of Caradon in Bloom 2006.
