Many lovely walks start from the doorstep over what is mainly National Trust land - take a stroll along the spectacular coastal footpath or the steep walk up through the old village, both of which afford some wonderful views over the the surrounding area. Most places within Devon and Cornwall are reachable in a day trip including the unspoilt beauty of Dartmoor, Bodmin and Exmoor.

Valency Bed and Breakfast is a former 18th Century barn, lovingly converted in the 1950's to create a unique property with marvellous character. We aim to provide accommodation which fulfils modern requirements yet highlights the period features of the buildings. Our three en-suite guest rooms are each complete with flat screen TV, CD, DVD player, hairdryer and refreshment tray. Complimentary towelling bathrobes are also made available to those staying for three nights or more. The Studio Suite has an open plan living, kitchen, dining area and is available to guests on a bed and breakfast or self catering basis. A freshly cooked breakfast is served daily from our varied menu which includes vegetarian choices. Special diets are happily catered for by prior arrangement.
