The Old Vicarage operates as a stud farm for Morgan Horses, an American breed and the only breed in esistence that can be traced back to a single Stallion, bred in 1793 in the state of Vermont. We have 35 acres of grazing and a 10 stall horse barn. We also keep a few head of Aberdeen Angus beef cattle and chickens to provide your breakfast eggs. We have nice local walks both on and off the property and the horses are always pleased to see visitors. There is usually something going on areound the training arena with youngsters and adult horses undergoing daily training. They get a weekly lesson in Jumping and Dressage and once a fortnight we have a visiting instructor to coach our horse and rider in Western riding skills
