Welcome to Lifton Hall Hotel & Village Inn, the perfect place to relax and unwind in the beautiful Devon countryside at the gateway to Cornwall. We offer comfortable, ensuite accommodation, good food, roaring fires and a warm welcome. Full of period charm thoughout, the hotel is Grade II listed with parts of it dating back to 1611 and it was also extended to in the early 1800's by the church when gothic features were added. Our superb restaurant serves delicious, locally sourced meals and guests are also welcome to relax outside with a Devon Cream Tea made with freshly made scones and thick, Devon clotted-cream and strawberry jam. We welcome families to our hotel and we are also pet friendly.

From smaller meetings over lunch to board room style meeting spread out over an entire day, you will find the hotel very suitable. Break out rooms are also available. There are ten large ensuite guest rooms available including twin rooms, double rooms and family rooms sleeping up to 4 people. As well as the usual TV, hot drink making facilities (with biscuits) and a direct dial telephone; each room has an alarm clock, hairdryer and complementary bottled mineral water (in a reusable bottle). Ground floor rooms are also available.
Specialities
We are pleased to offer discounts for stays of three nights or more and a 20% discount is available for all bookings of two or three consecutive nights that include a Saturday. Free WiFi is available in many areas of the hotel and morning papers are available.

Directions
From the M5 heading westward From junction 31 at Exeter (and the end of the M5) take the A30 heading for Okehampton. Stay on the A30 for about 40 minutes, passing Okehampton, heading for Launceston. Leave the A30 at the Liftondown exit and follow the signs for Lifton - Hotels and B&Bs. Continue through the village, and our hotel is on your left shortly after the post office and stores.
