Kilboy Country House Hotel, Cornwall is set in five acres of tranquil surroundings. Enjoy a peaceful holiday in the beautiful Cornish countryside of the Polmassick valley near Mevagissey. Originally a small farm belonging to the Mount Edgcumbe estate and dating back to the 16th Century. Now the hotel is fully refurbished offering eight rooms with en-suite facilities as well as two self-catering cottages. Some rooms are ground floor for easy access with patios whilst others are first floor with balconies every room has a garden view. Within the gardens of the hotel there is an outdoor swimming pool and a croquet lawn, as well as a riverside walk and a relatively newly planted 600 tree wooded area.

Rooms Description

Kilbol Country House Hotel - All rooms are double or twin with en-suite facilities. Each room is different but offers the same facilities: Colour remote TV, direct dial telephone, hairdryers, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries. Some rooms are ground floor for easy access with patios whilst others are first floor with balconies. Every room has a garden view.The Hotel does not cater for children under 12 years of age, however dogs of any age are welcome. Kilbol Self-Catering Holiday Cottages - The facilities include a fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge.TV and stereo system. Direct dial telephones in each bedroom. Both cottages are fully heated and also have a wood burning stove. Both cottages welcome children of all ages and well-behaved dogs.

Specialities

The Kilbol Country House Hotel Restaurant is open for guests and non-guests , with a Daily Menu. The menu will generally offer four starters, four main courses, four sweets and a cheese board. It is very important to stress that this menu changes every day (all courses). We make the most of the freshest, local, seasonal produce. In addition to the daily menu we also have a "Green Menu" this menu is made up of "specialities" and fish and as such require 24hrs to source, prepare and cook . Examples would be lobster, crabs, scallops and other fish etc. For most of the summer season, much of the fruit and vegetables used in the restaurant are grown in our own kitchen garden and are picked just minutes before being prepared and cooked.
