This warm and friendly B&B is set in 2 acres of grounds amidst the beautiful and tranquil countryside of the Tamar Valley. Ideally positioned for those who wish to explore West Devon and East Cornwall, Hampton Manor offers guests a truly relaxing stay. Our bedrooms have twin or super kingsize double beds and have either an ensuite or a private bathroom. Perfect for couples, we also accommodate business people and provide an ideal venue for small conferences - seating over 40 people and equipped with the usual facilities.

Surrounded by countryside, we offer a peaceful retreat for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We offer our guests the option to dine in our restaurant or enjoy a light lunch or morning coffee and afternoon teas which are served in our comfortable conservatory. Throughout the year we provide many activities for you to join in including Painting Week, Fishing Week, Walking Week and Photography Week. Avid Bridge players may want to enquire about our special five day event in November. We adopt a no smoking policy throughout.

Rooms Description

Each of our traditionally decorated bedrooms offer twin or super kingsize double beds, ensuite facilities or a private bathroom. Our 'Green Garden Room' has disabled access and looks over our beautiful garden. We have a spacious lounge area with log fire and TV and is available for all our guests to sit and relax at their own leisure. We also provide a large room, subject to availability, where children can play if the weather is wet. A conference room provides an ideal venue for meetings and can seat more than 40 people at any one time. A selection of small summerhouses and sheltered recesses provide a quiet sanctuary for our guests to relax surrounded by our elegant gardens and a spacious conservatory enables guests to enjoy the outdoors when the weather is not so nice. A small chapel at Hampton Manor is also available for guests to use.

Set within the Tamar Valley, we are in close proximity to many local attractions. Located midway between the north and south coasts with their distinctively different coastlines, they provide fantastic walks with stunning views over the bays. A short drive will take you to the historic city of Plymouth, half an hour's drive will take you to the National Marine Aquarium and the world renowned Eden Project is just one hour drive away. There are also many interesting gardens and National Trust Properties within easy reach including Buckland Abbey.
