Glencree House is a fine Victorian granite house originally established as a hotel in 1946. The house is conveniently situated on level ground in a quiet road just off Penzance seafront. From here it is just a short walk to the main shopping area, Penlee House with its gardens and café, the 1930's art deco open air lido, cinemas, museums and art galleries to mention but a few. The mail line rail station, coach station, harbour and heliport are also all within easy reach.

With spectacular views of St. Michael's Mount and the Lizard and the mildest climate in mainland Britain, it is ideally situated for those wishing to explore West Cornwall at any time of year. Set yourself up for a day's exploration with a hearty breakfast served in our dining room where newspapers and magazines are made available. We use organic produce and source locally wherever possible. We are happy to cater for special dietary requirements by arrangement.

Rooms Description

We have 8 spacious guest rooms, each with their own individual features. There is a mixture of single, twin and double rooms, some of which have four poster or king sized beds. Some of our rooms have sea views and most have en-suite facilities. All rooms are equipped with wash basins, shaver points, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, colour televisions, dvd players, clock radios and have individually controlled heating and sitting areas for additional comfort.

Specialities

On special occasions we are delighted to arrange little extras such as chocolates, flowers, fruit baskets and/or champagne. Packed lunches are available upon request. Children are welcome and a travel cot and highchair can be made available. Luggage transfers can be made by arrangement for walkers.
