Gold Martin in the village of Mawnan Smith was built in 1729 and is one of the oldest properties in the area. The house has been ecelctically furnished, and has many of its original features. In addittion to your room, there is a living room, conservatory and garden for guests use. Enjoy breakfast in our conservatory overlooking the garden. We offer traditional or more unusual choices, catering well for vegetarians. Home made bread and preserves plus a wide selection of teas are always available.

The house is within easy reach of the popular working harbour of Falmouth, the Helford river estuary, the SW Coastal path, the Lizard Peninsula and some of the most stunning and visited gardens in Cornwall. Trebah, Glendurgan, Carwinion and Penjerrick are within easy walking distance of the house as are many of the local beaches. Gold Martin offers a unique holiday setting for those who enjoy the countryside, walking, photography and painting or perhaps just a little peace and tranquility.
