Harbour View Guest House is situated right on the harbourside and has superb 180 degree views of bustling Newlyn Harbour and out towards St Michael's Mount, Mounts Bay and round to The Lizard. The surrounding area of West Cornwall is an area of outstanding natural beauty and has many fine beaches and rocky coves. The area is rich in history and is famous for its Newlyn School of Painters, the UK's largest fishing fleet, art galleries, festivals, craft shops and potteries as well as its splendid sub tropical gardens.

There are places to eat in the immediate vicinity and many more in nearby Penzance and Mousehole. Start the day with a full English breakfast served in our downstairs breakfast room overlooking the harbour. Following a day spent exploring the local area, relax in the digital TV lounge before venturing out for a drink or delicious meal. There are 2 local pubs within 20 and 200 yards. You will not get views from your room anywhere to compete with those at Harbour View Guest House - if you want to stay by the sea - this is the place!

Penzance's neighbour in the western corner of the magnificent Mounts Bay is Newlyn, the premiere fishing port in the southwest. The 43 acre harbour is packed with boats and has an atmosphere of activity and vigour - an inspiration for artists. We have superb pubs and restaurants a few yards away, all overlooking the harbour and St Michael's Mount - eat with the locals or in the finest restaurants. The bustling town of Penzance with its Wharfside shopping centre is an almost level walk away along the promenade, and the famous picturesque village of Mousehole is 1.5 miles along the coast. This rugged Lands End peninsula is studded with numerous sandy bays and secluded coves. St Ives and Lands End only 9 miles away. Newlyn is central for shops and eateries, yet close to all other facilities of west Cornwall - walking, surfing, ancient sites, tin mines, castles, lighthouses, moorland and much more.
