The Barns at Mullion has three barns, centred around a common courtyard with a large garden over the lane and just a 10 minute walk to Sandy Cove. Near to Heligan Gardens, the Eden Project and Coastal walks, this is the ideal accommodation for families with young children and couples, and it is safe for the younger ones to play in the courtyard or garden (both with gates). There are excellent walks in the local area and pets are welcome to enjoy your holiday with you. The properties are also available to book together for large families and groups, and with plenty of local activities in the area, there is something to keep everybody happy. This courtyard of traditional Cornish stone-built barns has recently been converted to provide striking accommodation, retaining original features yet with amenities to the highest standard for the comfort of all guests. The three barns have open-plain living spaces, extending to the roof and mezzanine bedrooms with gallery views across the barn. There is central heating, but also wood-burning stoves that can be opened out for that cosy feeling. The barns are set in a secluded position, adjoining fields in a quiet valley on the edge of Mullion Village. The village centre with its shops, tea rooms, churches and pubs is a 5 minute walk away whilst the spectacular scenery of the Cornish coastal path is just ten minutes away.

Rooms Description

All rooms are furnished and decorated to a high standard and with different themes and each is light and spacious, offering the very best in accommodation. Hat's Barn sleeps 6 (2 doubles - one en suite with a wet room; one twin). Bert's Barn sleeps 6 (one double, 2 twins). Joe's sleeps 4 (one double, one twin). Hat's has a bathroom (including roll-top bath) as well as the wet room. Bert's has a bathroom (including roll-top bath) and separate shower room. Joe's has a bathroom with shower over.

Specialities

The Mullion area of Cornwall's South Coast has plenty of sandy coves for swimming as well as spectacular coastal scenery. Mullion is within easy driving distance of North Coast resorts such as St Ives and St Agnes and South Coast sites of interest including the Eden Project, the Minack theatre, the Lost Gardens of Helligan and Trebah Gardens. Local fishing communities nearby include Penzance, Mousehole and Falmouth. Local entertainments include golf, horse ridingm helicopter rides to the Scilly Isles and the Gweek Seal Sanctuary. There is a theme park in nearby Helston, or you could enjoy a trip to the entertainments at Land's End.
