Located in the heart of Cornwall just minutes away from the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, miles of stunning coastline and set amidst beautiful countryside Roundhouse Mill is the perfect base for your holiday. Start your day with breakfast in the "round room" enjoying panoramic views of St Austell Bay and, after a busy day exploring the Cornish Riviera, relax in the gardens and sun terrace or enjoy a dip in the outdoor swimming pool. This converted 19th century mill house still has some of the original mill workings but has been recently renovated to provide you with modern comforts throughout.

Perched at the top of Penpillick Hill, the house is surrounded by mature gardens for you to enjoy. The sun terrace is a great place to sip a glass of wine and watch the sun slowly set behind the rolling hills. Roundhouse Mill also boasts a large outdoor swimming pool. What better than to end your day with an invigorating dip or take a relaxing swim after all that exploring. A stunning feature of Roundhouse Mill is the "round room", a circular room with high vaulted ceilings. Its centrepiece is the original mill house workings. And, to top it off, the huge windows afford panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast is served in this room and you have a choice of full English or vegetarian breakfasts as well as a range of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt. In the evenings, the room is a cosy sitting area with wood burning stove. We do not accommodate children under 14 years of age.

Directions

Follow the the A390 towards St Austell. Go through Lostwithiel and after approx 3 miles just past the Penpillick sign take the first left (before starting the descent of the main hill.) Take the 1st right and then 2nd right again. Roundhouse Mill is at the end of the lane. Approaching from the opposite direction on the A390 from St Blazey, take the 2nd right after the level crossing, (directly opposite the sign for Penpillick) At the top of the lane turn left and then first left agaain and just follow our signs.
