Sedgemoor Heights accomodation is quietly situated to the rear of the main house, accessable by their own private entrance. Our room names are inspired by the house's history. 46 Bodmin Road is a large townhouse which was built for the rich industrialists of St Austell in 1820. The servants' quarters have been thoughtfully renovated to provide our guests with a comfortable stay whilst retaining many of the original features. The landing area at the top of the stairs separates the Maid's Room and The Nursery. It has an original fireplace as well as a games table and a place to contribute to the pets' picture gallery! Breakfast is served in the bright, elegant dining room of the main house. Chat to the other guests over a sumptuous cooked breakfast whilst admiring the view over the Gover Valley. Guests have their own entrance through the fully enclosed, Mediterranean style courtyard. A picnic table is available for guests' use. Take time to enjoy the surroundings, full of flowers in spring & summer. The old Wash House has been renovated into a relaxing 'outside sitting room'.
The central position of Sedgmoor Heights makes it an ideal base for touring Cornwall. Attractions such as the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are a 10 minute drive away, whilst the beautiful beaches ard picturesque harbour villages of St Austell are a stones throw away. There is a guest car park at the front of the house for those arriving by car. Rail and train links are only a 10 minute walk away.
