Traditional English breakfast using local produce is cooked on the Aga and served in the farm house.
All the luxuriously furnished bedrooms are light and airy with tea and coffee making facilities. The Tinners Arms is the only pub in Zennor and was built in 1271 to accommodate the masons who constructed St. Senara's Church which is famous for its mermaid. With its open log fires, stone floors and low ceilings it has changed little over the years and now offers a traditional pub experience with real Cornish ales and carefully prepared food using the best of local ingredients. Whilst we do not aim to be a 'gastropub" we offer a varied menu that changes daily with main courses ranging from £5.95 to £14.95 including a selection of fresh vegetables. On Sunday we serve organic roast beef lunch.
The Tinners is a refuge from the modern pace of life where you will not find a TV, juke box or fruit machine. Your mobile phone will not receive a signal. This is a place for those wishing to relax in front of the fire with a quiet pint and some cornish cheese or a locally reared steak. In warm weather you might prefer some locally caught fish or the famous Tinners fish pie which can be enjoyed on the sunny terrace which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. A great place to watch the sun go down.
