Shark Bait Surf Lodge is run by surfers for surfers. The lodge is conveniently located close to Newquay town centre, Fistral Beach and the infamous Tolcarne wedge. We are pretty chilled out and you are free to come and go as you please, all we ask is that you leave the party at the door in the interests of your fellow guests. All of our rooms have locks so you can be sure that your gear is safe and there is a board rack to store your board.

Fistral is Newquay's most popular beach and is noted for its fine golden sands and surfing. The westerly aspect of the beach creates some of the best surfing conditions in Europe and during the summer months lifeguards are on duty. We have links with local body boarding and surf schools and are only too happy to book any lessons or other activities for you. We are close to a wide variety of restaurants and bars where delicious food is available. Newquay's nightlife has something to suit all tastes, end the day in a club before starting it all again the following day.
