Rooms Description

Trussel Farm nestles in an idyllic setting on the south-facing slopes of the East Looe Valley offering a perfect getaway for two. The cottages are set within 24 acres of the owner’s small holding where you will be welcome to explore the varied scenery consisting of open fields, woodlands, ponds and a wetland nature reserve. Stroll the winding footpath along the beautiful riverbank with views over the scenic single-track railway. With excellent access to both coasts and centrally located for all attractions in Cornwall including The Eden Project which is just a 40 minute drive away. The picturesque fishing villages of Looe and Polperro are close by which offer many restaurants and pubs. Regret no pets and no smoking within the properties. Trussel Farm has its own private filtered water supply and free-range eggs are usually available. Bed linen, electric, heating and logs are included. A shared washing machine and freezer are situated in an outhouse. Shops and pubs at Liskeard just 2 miles and the beach at Looe, 5 miles. Short breaks This quaint former fisherman’s cottage nestles in the picturesque village of Pentewan, with its popular sandy beach and coastal footpath. Within walking distance you will find cycle and kayak hire, family pubs and the village shop. A little further afield you will find the town of St Austell with its shops, pubs and restaurants and the fishing village of Mevagissey with its walled harbour and bay. The area is also famous for its attractions which include The Eden Project, Charlestown, Lost Gardens of Heligan, and The National Maritime Museum at Falmouth.
