The cottage is situated one and a half miles from Par beach. Polkerris is three miles and the beautiful beach and a good pub are set at the foot of a coombe. Both beaches have easy access.

There are a wealth of wonderful things to do and see and all within very easy reach. The Shipwreck, Rescue and Heritage Centre at the historic old port of Charlestown, offers an insight into the perils of the sea. Beautiful gardens, cycle routes and breath-taking coastal walks abound. Fowey, Mevagissey, St Austell, The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are all in close proximity and the spectacular north coast is only an easy drive away
