Located in the heart of Mevagissey, and just a stone's throw from all the village has to offer, Myrtle Cottage is set back from the road in a pretty flowery cobbled courtyard. Stroll around the harbour with a Cornish ice-cream, amble through the village with its narrow cobbled streets, visit the various art galleries and gift shops, sit on one of the many fabulous beaches, or just rest on the terrace being serenaded by the seagulls!

Close attractions include the world famous Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the historic tall ships town of Charlestown. Mevagissey enjoys stunning scenery, cycle trails and unspoilt National Trust beaches. Unlike most villages, it is open all year round, and has some spectacular coastal walks. The Mevagissey to Fowey ferry is a fabulous way to explore the dramatic coastline. Myrtle Cottage -the perfect setting for a perfect Cornish holiday.

Rooms Description

Set over three levels, the accommodation comprises a master bedroom with super king-sized bed and ensuite shower/toilet, a king sized bedroom and a twin with adult bunk beds. There is a large family bathroom with separate shower and the top floor kitchen/dining room has rooftop views of the harbour and sea. The sitting room has an open fire, and leads out to a decked garden with BBQ and wooden garden furniture.

Specialities

Walk up the cliffs and take in the stunning scenery - stop at one of the many old pubs on the way back for refreshments. Many of them used to be the haunts of old smugglers. Rent a speedboat or join in a shark-fishing trip from the harbour. Hire a bicycle in nearby Pentewan, go horse-riding on the beach, or play golf. Take the Meva-Fowey ferry...a great way to see the rugged Cornish coastline.
