Those of you in search of an eco-friendly place to stay in Cornwall should look into booking accommodation at 4 Fish Cellars Cottage in Portwrinkle. Part of a larger development, our three storey cottage has been created with some of the newest environmentally sustainable techniques. As it's name would suggest, the house has been built on the site of the village fish cellars, which were over 400 years old, and the house has even been built from the previous buildings' resources. Our house is located right on the waterfront and you can admire the amazing views from the first floor balcony. In winter, guests can stay warm thanks to the luxury underfloor heating and, whatever the weather, you can always snuggle up in either the main lounge or the basement den. Both rooms have comfortable seating, high end TVs and fast broadband access.

As our cottage is placed just a short walk from the beach we definitely advise guests to bring their swimming trunks on holiday with them! The closest patch of sand is Finnygook Beach, which has the double bonus of being popular with surfers and other watersports enthusiasts as well as being safe for children to play on. If you don't mind a short drive, East Looe beach is just 20 minutes away and is one of the most popular family resorts in the area. If you want to explore the surrounding countryside you can walk parts of the South West Coast Path, a long distance walking route that showcases some incredible sea views.

The kitchen at our cottage is placed on the ground floor and is tucked into one corner of the open plan lounge. We have ensured that all of the appliances in the kitchen are of the highest quality, and guests can use the electric oven with ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave as much as they like while staying with us. There's also a washing room with a washer and a tumble dryer in the den, where you'll find two sofa beds to sleeps 2 guests and a small windowless room with bunk-beds for occasional use. There are two main bedrooms, both of which are en suite doubles.

The cottage has secure underground parking and is family friendly, with pets allowed as well. Unfortunately, we must state that the elderly or those with mobility issues may find the cottage unsuitable due to the cottage's 3 storey layout.
