Perfectly situated to enjoy the benefits of Cornwall, this converted clay drying building provides an ideal base to explore the country. The property was once used as a clay drying facility and is part of the rich china clay heritage of Cornwall. Cycling and walking on the official 'clay trails' within the area is a must, on which you can explore the area and even reach the world famous Eden Project. St Austell with its leisure centre is approximately five miles as is the village of Charlestown, home to 'tall ships' and a ship wreck heritage museum that houses artefacts from the Titanic.

The fishing village of Padstow is easily accessible. Newquay with its excellent surfing beaches is approximately 12 miles away and close by is Jamie Oliver's new restaurant, Fifteen. The ancient fishing port of Fowey is within 10 miles and was the home to Daphne Du Maurier, it has many events thorughout the year such as the Daphne Du Maurier festival and the Fowey Royal Regatta. Bodmin Moor is also close by and provides an excellent location for horse riding, walking and mountain biking. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock House and Crealy Adventure Park are all within an easy drive. Shop, pub and restaurant one mile.

Rooms Description

The cottages have three or four bedrooms sleeping between six and eight respectively. On the lower ground floor there is a spacious lounge with French door leading to decking and views. On the ground floor there is a kitchen/dining room and three double bedrooms. Bathroom with Shower over bath, toilet and basin.In the ounge, guests will find a Freeview TV, DVD player and a radio and CD player for entertainment.

We also offer four star accommodation, a four large double bedroom cottage with one en-suite shower room with toilet and basin. Two self-contained studio units sleeps 2 @ £50 p.n based on minimum 2 nights all year round.
