Mermaid is a spacious bungalow and enjoys views across the estuary and sea to the golf course and Porthkidney Sands. Outside guests will find a decked terrace with outdoor seating and direct access to the coast path leading to the beach, just 100 yards away. St Ives Bay has a glorious three mile stretch of sand backed by sand dunes, cliffs and caves-ideal for exploring. Hayle itself boasts an array of shops, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes. The town is ideally situated for visiting the many interesting towns and villages of Cornwall. Newquay, Penzance and St. Ives are all within easy driving distance. St Ives can also be reached by the coastal train from Lelant which is well worth taking and is said to be one of the most scenic train journeys in Europe.
