Mermaid is a spacious dog-friendly bungalow in St. Ives Bay, Hayle enjoying views across the estuary and sea to the golf course and Porthkidney Sands. Outside guests will find a decked terrace with outdoor seating and just 10 metres away is a further seating area with stunning views over the beach and sea. There is direct access to the coast path leading to the beach, just 100 yards away. St Ives Bay has a glorious three mile stretch of sand backed by sand dunes, cliffs and caves-ideal for exploring. Walkers are sure to enjoy the beach walk to Godrevy Lighthouse whilst birdwatchers will be fascinated with the RSPB sanctuary on the Hayle Estuary. Hayle itself boasts an array of shops, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes. The town is ideally situated for visiting the many interesting towns and villages of Cornwall. Newquay, Penzance and St. Ives are all within easy driving distance of the self-catering accommodation. St Ives can also be reached by the coastal train from Lelant which is well worth taking and is said to be one of the most scenic train journeys in Europe.

The adjoining lounge has ample seating and is equipped with TV, DVD and Hi-Fi for your enjoyment. Bedroom one contains a double bed and is fully en-suite and equipped with colour TV. Bedroom two is twin bedded, fully en-suite and equipped with colour TV. We can also provide travel cot and highchair.
