The famous South West Coastal Path runs directly in front of the house and stretches for some 630 miles around the Devon and Cornwall coastline. Castle Beach and Pendennis Castle are just a six minute stroll away and there are a range of shops, restaurants and bars within easy reach. Falmouth is a working harbour and there are regular ferry services to St Mawes, Truro and the Helford River throughout the year.

The town hosts many events and festivals throughout the year including the Oyster Festival and Regatta Week. Falmouth is now a regular cruise stop and there are a great many beautiful Cornish gardens within easy reach for a day trip, including Trebah, Glendurgan and the world famous Eden Project.
