Waterside is a stylish modern riverside home offering self catering accommodation for up to 5 guests in three bedrooms. Waterside is a great location for exploring beautiful Cornwall. There are lovely beaches nearby including Rock, Polzeath or Watergate Bay. The renowned Eden Project is a short journey, or even closer the Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay. Culinary experiences abound: Jamie Oliver's 15 Restaurant, Fish and Chips at Rick Steins or many family friendly pubs in walking distance. Tintagel with its legends of King Arthur is an easy trip, as well as the lovely old harbour at Boscastle. Also, the beautiful house and gardens at Llanhydrock are not to be missed. Waterside is a self catering cottage in Wadebridge that can accommodate up to 5 people. There is a large lounge upstairs to make the most of the wonderful views. A Colour TV, Video player, DVD, cd/Cassette player and Radio are all provided for your enjoyment. The kitchen/dining room is very well equipped including a Fridge/Freezer, ceramic hob cooker, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also the main bathroom including a bath and shower. The hallway leads to a separate utility room with Washing Machine and ironing facilities (an outdoor clothes line is also provided). The Kitchen has patio doors which open onto a delightful paved garden with additional garden furniture, gas barbecue and Tropical Palms. All bed linen is provided and includes duvets on all beds. Parking for two cars. Sorry, no pets. Why not swap the restrictions of a hotel room or a Bed and Breakfast stay for a whole holiday house?

Rooms Description

The main double bedroom is upstairs and includes an ensuite bathroom with shower. On the ground floor, there is a twin room with river views and two single beds (which can be converted to a further double upon request). There is also an additional single bedroom. All have wardrobes and storage space.

Specialities

Waterside is in a fantastic location. Just opposite the property are a Cricket Pitch, large Playground and Tennis courts accessible within minutes via a footbridge. Recently, a salt marsh has been recreated close to the property which adds to the wildlife viewing opportunities from the balcony. Waterside is adjacent to the Camel Trail; a disused railway which provides up to 17 miles of wonderful level cycling or walking. Cycles can be hired locally or you could bring your own and store them safely in the enclosed garden. The most popular is the scenic 6 miles down stream from Wadebridge to Padstow as the estuary snakes it way towards the sea. Or why not take a trip in the other direction and visit the Award winning Camel Valley winery? There is also a variety of fishing opportunties in the area. Details are provided in the property. If you are a Golfer there is a good choice of local courses. There is a lovely cinema within a very short walk with the latest films but old fashioned comfy seats! There is a great leisure centre in Wadebridge and swimming for over 60's is even free! Waterside is a great base for the plentiful Cornish attractions such as the Eden Project or The Lost Gardens of Heligan or for beautiful Beaches. There is plenty to do in the area for all ages.
