Built as a parsonage around 1800, the house has played a key role in the life of the local Cornish community. It has just been refurbished and redecorated to create a relaxing, comfortable and attractive home to share with others. All our rooms are spacious with ensuite and furnished in a style that is sensitive to both the history of the house and the tastes of modern life. The ground floor room has been designed in a way to be suitable for those with impaired mobility. Guests have the use of the elegant dining/sitting room at the front of the house, together with the conservatory and garden.
Wherever possible we seek to work with the local community and to use locally sourced, organic and home-made produce. As well as breakfast, we offer cream teas, packed lunches and light meals. The house is also licensed and operates an honesty bar. A good range of restaurants and pubs is within easy walking distance for evening meals. The house has drying facilities, ample secure storage and on-site parking.
