Barnhaven's 2 self catering holiday bungalows, sleep 2-4 , nestle in the secluded hamlet of Polladras near Porthleven and just ten minutes drive from Praa Sands and its long golden beach. Climb to the top of Tregonning and Godolphin Hills for panoramic views towards Praa Sands and St Michaels Mount , Carbis Bay and Penzance. For dog owners, take a walk along the many footpaths and woodlands or head for the coastal paths and beachs. Dog sitting can be arranged. Visit St Breaca, the 15th century church of in Breage (1-2miles) or Godolphin House with it's medieval gardens (1-2 miles) Use Barnhaven as a base to explore the local attractions, take a surf lesson at Praa sands or Godrevy, visit St Ives and enjoy a cream tea or a pasty.

Tregonning Hill plays an important part in local history, having been the place where china clay was first discovered in Britain, before larger deposits were located towards St Austell. We enjoy a tranquil rural location and the fields around are used for growing daffodils and vegetables, peacocks wander freely at nearby farms and owls can often be heard in the surrounding trees at night. You approach Barnhaven through an old field gate, where there is plenty of parking, and space for bicycles around the back.

Barnhaven's 2 Holiday Bungalows have gardens with outdoor furniture for you to use. Each has a kitchen/dining/sitting room area that is neat and cosy, a shower room, a master bedroom with a double bed and a second room with 2 single beds. There is plenty of parking in the drive and room to relax in this quiet part of Cornwall.
Specialities
Pets are welcome at anytime of year (2 dogs max.) Pet sitting available by arrangement. Good location for Dog walks on the local designated dog beaches, coastal footpaths, woodland areas and down the many country lanes with great views from the tops of Tregonning and Godolphin Hills.

Directions
Drive down the A30 to Hayle and through the town to the viaduct where you turn left onto the B3302 to Helston, and drive for 6.25 miles. Turn right, sign posted towards Carleen and Breage. Drive into Carleen and when you get to the T junction turn right and then first right again after 50 yards, Barnhaven's 2 holiday bungalows are down this lane on the right hand side, about 400 yards past Polladras farm, through the farm gates at the front of the holiday bungalows at our sign.
