The Glen, Near Eden Project - Par

Self-catering apartment in the lovely seaside village of Par close to the Eden Project, St Austell & Fowey in South Cornwall.

Harriet and Wayne welcome you to The Glen, attached to a lovely Georgian building which we run as a village store. The ground floor apartment is located at the rear of our property and comprises a double and twin room, both with televisions, freeview and hairdryers. There is also a small but well-equipped kitchen and shower room. Please note that there is no lounge in the apartment. There is off-road parking for one car and guests are welcome to share our garden with trampoline, playhouse, sandpit etc.

The accommodation is ideally located in Par being approximately a ten minute walk from the sandy beach and coastal path. We are also a ten minute drive from the Eden Project. There are many other attractions within a short drive including Fowey, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock House and Trewithen Gardens. Even Lands End is just 90 minutes drive. Within the village there are many amenities including the mainline station, library, indoor pool, gymnasium, fishing and riding centre, and within approx 3 miles there is golf, 10 pin bowling, multi-screen cinema and a large indoor childrens' play area.

Rooms Description

There is one double room and one twin room. Both rooms are ground floor and are centrally heated when necessary. The rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable and have TVs with freeview and a DVD player. The twin room has a z-bed if required. The two rooms are let out as a unit and have a shower room and small, well equipped kitchen. The kitchen has a full sized cooker and fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, plenty of crockery, cutlery etc iron and ironing board.

The apartment is located at the rear of our village shop and perfect for our guests to get all the essentials, but also means that we are on hand to help with any enquiries you may have. The apartment is in a fantastic location for exploring Cornwall and just 2-3 miles from the world renowned Eden Project and has many activities within a very short distance. (many of which are in walking distance) including riding stables, 2 swimming pools, crazy golf, gym, beach, golf courses, indoor children's play world, 10-pin bowling, multiscreen cinema etc... we also have a mainline railway station in Par and a good bus service.
