Moorland House bed and breakfast is superbly situated between the popular seaside towns of Padstow and Newquay on Cornwall's coast. The beaches of Watergate Bay (the location of Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Restaurant) and Mawgan Porth lie within easy reach and both are popular for surfing, kitesurfing or just hanging out. The world famous Eden Project is just a half hour away whilst the scenic fishing town of Padstow, with its array of shops and restaurants, including a few owned by celebrity chef Rick Stein. For the more culturally inclined the Tate can be found a little further away in the picturesque seaside town of St Ives.

The county of Cornwall is an adventure sports playground with all sorts of exciting activities on offer. The Newquay coastline is renowned for its surfing with kitesurfing rapidly catching up in terms of popularity. The coolest new sport in the area is coasteering, an exciting mix of swimming, rock climbing, scrambling, coastal exploration and cliff jumping. For those who wish to explore some of the local area on foot, we have a collection of Ordnance Survey Maps which we are happy to lend guests. Our local pub, The Falcon, is just a three minute walk away and serves good food in the lovely garden.

The deluxe guest accommodation consists of one double room and one twin bedded room, each with en-suite facilities. Guest rooms are fitted out with Egyptian cotton sheets, under floor heating, wood floors, flat screen TVs and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk and home made biscuits.

We are an eco friendly B&B and are committed to the principles of sustainable tourism. The accommodation has been built using reclaimed stone, local timber cladding, solar panels, wood burning stove and LED lighting. Everything is recycled and we use local farm produce for breakfasts.
