A 17th century blacksmiths cottage set in a peaceful location just a few miles from Looe, Polperro and the beautiful beaches of Cornwall. Families welcome.

Located in an idyllic rural setting, Crossroads Cottage is a 17th century former blacksmiths cottage and just a few miles from the picturesque fishing villages of Looe and Polperro, plus the beautiful beaches of South Cornwall. We offer first class family holidays, short breaks and romantic getaways. The cottage is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and offers warm, comfortable accommodation with parking just outside. There are two bedrooms located in the upstairs of the accommodation that have views of the rolling Cornish countryside and the coast. One bedroom is a double and the second room has bunk beds. There is also a sofa bed in the downstairs lounge which can sleep two.

Looe and Polperro are two beautiful areas in Cornwall that offer fantastic places of interest and many things to do and see. With Looe's stunning harbour, coastal walks and historical buildings, it is a place full of wonderment and delight and perfect for watersports such as canoeing and kayaking. Watch fisherman catch the fish of the day, take a boat trip out to sea and if the sea isn't your thing, for the discerning golfer, Looe Golf course is close by. Horse riding is also very popular nearby. For the children, The Monkey Sanctuary is within easy driving distance. The Seal Sanctuary is also within driving distance and Flambards Adventure Park will be fun for the whole family.

The ground floor of the self-catering accommodation comprises of a lounge diner with flat screen TV, sofa bed, and an additional sofa. The dining area is furnished with a dining table and four chairs. There is a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a double room and a twin room with bunk beds. The main bedroom has a TV and DVD player with views over the Cornish countryside. There is also a bathroom upstairs with a bath and shower.

Specialities

The cottage supplies duvets, all bed linens, bath mats, tea towels, towels, washing up liquid, foil, cling film, cleaning materials, games, and books so you should feel at home whilst away. There will be a welcome pack awaiting your arrival with tea and coffee, sugar and milk. The cottage is heated by night storage and emersion heater for hot water. Pets are welcome at a £15 per week per pet charge.
