Looe is a friendly fishing village with many shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes. The narrow and twisting cobbled streets reveal new delights at every turn and there are art galleries, craft displays, gift shops and of course the thriving fish market. The beach is shallow and safe and is littered with rock pools, just waiting to be explored. Visitors both young and old enjoy fishing for crabs from the quay side and during the high season all manner of entertainment can be found along the beach front, including trampolines. Boat trips leave regularly from the quay side or you can explore the surrounding cliffs on foot using the coastal path. Other attractions to be found within easy reach include the Eden Project, Bodmin Moor and the seaside villages of Polperro and Fowey.
