Cornwall has so much to offer, there is something for everyone from stunning countryside, beautiful beaches, shopping, sport, peace and relaxation. Cornwall is a gardener's paradise, Trewithen, Heligan, Trebah, Eden Project and many others all nearby and a must to visit. The old Cornish villages have a charm of their own, Mevagissey, Charlestown (you might see a film crew there), Marazion, Padstow (guests wanting to eat in Rick Stein's restaurant have to book well in advance) and many others. The National Trust properties in Cornwall not only have amazing houses but beautiful gardens as well such as Trerice, Lanhydrock and Trelissick. Family attractions include Dairyland, Springfields, Crealy and Flambards and have all you need to keep children happy. The cathedral city of Truro is a must for shops, restaurants, museum, cinema, nightlife. Why not take a scenic boat trip along the beautiful river Fal.

Rooms Description

Hewas Cottages offer a choice of 4 delightful self catering cottages. Daisy's Byre Holiday Cottage sleeps 2 and is studio style with beamed roof timbers, open plan living/dining, double bedroom with 4 poster bed, TV, freeview, DVD/CD and fully fitted kitchen. Shared garden. Prince's Stable sleeps 2 and is a detached cottage with one double bedroom, open plan lounge/kitche/diner, fully fitted kitchen, TV, freeview, DVD/CD, multi fuel burner and bathroom. 1 dog by arrangement. Miller's Loft sleeps 4 and offers 2 double downstairs bedrooms (1 double, 1 bunk), open plan lounge/diner/kitchen, beamed ceilings, colour TV & Freeview, DVD/CD. Charles Paul Barn sleeps 4 and has two downstairs bedrrooms, 1 double, 1 twin, bathroom, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, multi fuel burner, TV, Freeview, DVD/CD, enclosed rear garden. 1 dog by arrangement.

Specialities

Leisure comes in the form of an all weather tennis court (please bring own racquets), free use of a nearby swimming pool, childrens play area with swings, seesaw, slide and sand pit. There is a large games room which incorporates a snooker room with full size snooker table and darts board (this room for adult use only), table tennis and selection of books and games. New for this year is the Fitness Suite with rowing machine, exercise bike, stair climber and motorised treadmill. TV, Video, DVD and selection of exercise videos and dvds (this room for adult use only). New also for this year is the provision of Dog Kennels with good sized runs. Dog basket is provided, please bring dog's own bed/toys etc.
