This is the ideal position for a relaxed and stress free holiday just a stone's throw from the shops, art galleries, restaurants and pubs. St Just is a former mining town, the most westerly in England and is an ideal retreat all year round. The town has a fabulous range of amenities including a butchers, bakers, newsagents, pharmacy, grocer, Co-op and hairdresser. St Just's 18 hole golf course overlooks Cape Cornwall and has leisure facilities and an indoor swimming pool open to the public.

Penwith House underwent a complete refurbishment in 2009 and sleeps eight people in one impressive king size master bedroom with 32" TV and DVD, one large double bedroom and two spacious twin bedrooms, all bedrooms have thermostatically controlled heating. The house comprises of a modern kitchen with oil fuelled Aga as well as a ceramic hob, fan oven and microwave; washing machine and dryer in a separate utility; two large family bathrooms, one on each floor; a dining room with open fire and separate lounge with 32" TV, DVD and CD player. A huge winner with guests is the large secure walled garden with dining area and barbecue ideal for children and dogs to play safely. Secure gated parking is available for one small/medium sized car at the side of the property. There is no smoking within the house. We accept a maximum of two dogs only but prior approval must be sought. This house ceases to amaze guests when they enter the front door to find the amount of space on offer, which can not be fully appreciated until arrival. All this yet still maintaining a warm and homely atmosphere to ensure couples and smaller groups also enjoy their stay.

Specialities

We love dogs! up to 2 dogs allowed with prior approval. Fixed stairgates provided restrict them to ground floor. Towels for drying muddy paws as well blankets for beds. The high walled garden is completely enclosed to avoid escapes. Your dog will be in doggy heaven with superb walks this area has to offer.
