Tolcarne Beach Surf Shacks are built on the golden sands of Tolcarne Beach looking directly out onto Newquay Bay. Each shack caters for up to four adults and enjoy magnificent views of the ocean from the comfort of your bed. These fabulous shacks offer the rare opportunity to camp out on the beach right in front of the rolling waves, the chance to get away from it all and get back to basics. Newquay is a popular surfing and holiday destination, set as it is on a seemingly endless sweep of sandy beaches, imposing cliffs and pounding Atlantic surf.

Newquay itself has much to offer but if you wish to explore the county of Cornwall then you could ask for no better base. Its central location makes days out to places such as Penzance and Bude easy. Alternatively, you could stay local and explore the shops, aquarium, boating lake and zoo. The local area is renowned for its wide variety of outdoor activities, mainly focussed on the water. Why not try your hand at surfing, kite surfing, water skiing and wakeboarding during your stay at this truly unique accommodation.

Rooms Description

Tolcarne Beach Surf Shacks are fully equipped with duvets, pillows and linen for four beds. There are two bunk beds, a cabinet with four compartments and a fresh water tap outside. A private shower block with shared facilities for guests of the six shacks. A small kitchenette with sink, toaster, microwave, kettle and fridge is available for the residents of the shacks. We supply one electric light but recommend that you bring any camping items you need that you feel are necessary to enjoy your holiday. We recommend that you bring cutlery, cups, plates and other items along with a towel for the beach and the shower.

Specialities

Just down the beach is Tolcarne Beach Surf Hire, with a large range of beach goods such as deckchairs, sunloungers and even private beach huts available for hire. All equipment can be rented by the hour or the day. Please note this is a pet free beach. Alcohol is not allowed on the beach but you can drink in your shack and pon the patio area in front. There is a beach pub also where you can enjoy a drink whilst watching the surf.
