With its selection of shops and pubs, this quaint settlement is primarily involved in agriculture leaving a picturesque patchwork of lush, gently undulating fields. Just a thirty minute drive away is the ruggedly beautiful north Cornish coast, with rocky caves, high cliffs and excellent surfing beaches. Newquay, with its new Fistral Beach surf centre, is also nearby, along with the fishing village of Padstow. With its narrow, winding streets, charming harbour and renowned restaurants, this small town certainly merits a visit. The spectacular Eden project is also close by, with biomes full of tropical plants.
Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.
