An excellent range of golf courses are to be found in and around Newquay, from challenging 18 hole golf courses to pitch and putt golf for all the family at both Holywell and at Newlyn East near Lappa.
The best beginner Newquay golf course is East Newlyn near the Lappa Valley Leisure & Steam Railway complex. One of the most challenging golf courses is the central Newquay golf course, an 18 hole course high on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic. A handicap is required here, and this challenging course is popular with Cornwall Golf competitions.

There's pitch and putt here too so all the family can join in the golf. Great coastal views, and a licensed clubhouse is on-site. Green Fees available.

St Newlyn East Golf Course, Nr St. Newlyn East, Newquay, Cornwall TR8 5HZ. Tel: 01872 510902.St Newlyn East Golf Course is ideally placed near the Lappa Valley Steam Railway & Leisure Complex. With 12 holes and a Par 44, this inland Newquay golf course is seasonal and open from 25th March to 30th October (8.30 am til dusk). A handicap isn't required, so it's a good one for beginner golfers, but for the experienced too. Club hire is available, plus lots of facilities and cafe at nearby Lappa.
Holywell Bay Golf & Funpark Newquay
Holywell Bay 18 hole, 3 par golf course and adjacent fun park, pitch and putt and crazy golf is a superb family golfing venue. It's all here, a challenging spectacular golf course with views over Holywell Bay beach combined with the family facilities of a great adventure park.
